Our story
Built for the Millfield sporting community.
What happens after the whistle — the tour, the changing room, the friendships, the silences — lasts a great deal longer. Beyond Eighty was built for that part.

How We Started
Beyond Eighty began with a simple idea: to create high-quality swimwear that captures the identity and pride of a team. Founded by Millfield player Fred Stubbings, the brand launched with briefs inspired by Millfield’s iconic colours. What started as a school project is being built into a genuine social enterprise, with plans to create custom designs for other schools while supporting men’s health through Movember.
Why swimwear
Pre-season swims, recovery sessions, tour. The swim brief is the one piece every squad ends up in together, and the one nobody had made properly for them. We start there, then build outwards.
Why Movember?
Beyond Eighty is built around sport, teamwork and looking out for one another. Movember supports men’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer—issues that are especially important in male sporting communities, where people do not always speak openly about what they are facing. By donating a portion of our profits, we want every pair sold to contribute to something bigger than swimwear.
How we make it
Independently designed and manufactured in limited runs, one community at a time. No overproduction, no restocks by default. When a drop is gone, it is gone.
